Infinity Loop references AI-collaborative images that speak to the obsession and compulsion for touch when scrolling an infinite loop of content.

The piece combines the sandy texture of stoneware with metallic industrial mixed media, amoeba-like scattered human teeth, and a red glove. It is inspired by two AI collaborations, in which the first, I shared the text, “Doomscroller,” with clay works-in-progress, and the AI produced discombobulated imagery of human teeth, a metallic object, and a red glove. This was translated into a triptych narrative with a separate AI to produce DOOMSCROLLER I, II, and III, created in tandem with the Infinity Loop sculpture.
