"Streetlight" at Roman Susan

I'm excited to be a part of Streetlight at the Roman Susan Gallery in Chicago. The entire exhibition is projected through the window after dark into the street, on view from December 30, 2015 - January 21, 2016. There is documentation of my video The Search below and you can find more info on the exhibition here.

"Golden Blobess" Interview with Mengi

Here's a short little interview Mariske Broeckmeyer and I did about our upcoming performance at Mengi. Music in the interview was composed by Mariske.

Golden Blobess is a performance that merges video, sound, and dance.
Through an ambiance of collisions between the dark and the fantastic, Golden Blobess brings consciousness to surrounding environments and objects that co-create human adaptability. As a futuristic creature confronts her own humanness golden objects and ecological spaces gain anthropomorphic qualities clashing her independent, self-absorbed nature.

The World Belongs to Everyone, Not Only a Chosen Few is a group exhibition of 1st year MA students at The Iceland Academy of the Arts. This exhibition is the result of a collaborative project between the Living Art Museum (NÝLÓ) and the MA Fine Art Programme at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. The aim was to confront to some extent the local characteristics of the Living Art Museum in Breiðholt. To get a sense for a periphery that is bountiful in multiple ways. If not by looking into social or cultural particularities of this place, or to enquire the remarkable museum collection, than at least to test the vibrations from these old bakery walls against one’s artistic identity.

Artists: Aimee Odum, Ásgrímur Þórhallsson, Florence So-Yue, Giampaolo Algieri, Ingunn Fjóla Ingþórsdóttir, Jens Michael Muhlhoff, Mia Van Veen, Myrra Leifsdóttir og Ragna Fróðadóttir. The exhibition workshop was led by artists Ingólfur Arnarsson and Elín Hansdóttir.

Free entrance. The Living Art Museum is located in Völvufell 13-21, Breiðholt. Facebook event can be found here:
