I had the opportunity to work with other artists as part of the performance "Fisk Kona" translating to "Fish Woman" in Icelandic. Created and performed by Kerryn McMurdo from New Zealand, the performance emphasizes the role of storytelling in our lives.
"This is a story of an infinite mythical being who came from the ocean and occupies a human female form. She is the bringer of life and death of the body. She bears a dead cod fish as a reminder that all living things and beings are a finite resource. She consumes and is consumed by materials of this world. She is the fisk kona (the fish woman, the fish wife)." -Kerryn McMurdo
